Trouble reading today's article? Click here: Issue #544 - Sunday, September 25, 2022 Dear
Fellow Grower, In today's issue... - You bought the grow equipment, raised the plants, harvested them and cured them. What's next? Making sure they last as long as possible. Homegrown weed is kind of like money: making some is great, but it's even better to have a lot of it for a long
time. We can't help with financial advice, but we can definitely help you keep your weed for a long time.
- With the outdoor growing season just about over in the northern hemisphere, a lot of growers are looking towards their winter growing plans. Learn what you need to get to be ready!
- The buds are back in town! This week's "Trophy Pics of the Week" section has
enough club-sized colas in it to be considered a threat. I'm pretty sure that the plants pictures below could take over a small town if they learned how to work together. Let's all be thankful that hasn't happened and we can rest easy knowing they'll be getting smoked instead of fighting a war against us.

Learn How to Store Weed So It Lasts! 🌳🛑✋⌚➡🌳🤯

How Long is My Weed Good For? When it comes to storing your cannabis, the method you choose makes a huge difference in how long your buds maintain potency and freshness! But what’s the best way to store weed? Is it vacuum-sealing? Will freezing your buds hurt them in any way? I’ve tried a few different methods for storing marijuana over the years, and today I want to share what has and
hasn’t worked for me. Properly stored buds have some natural color and don’t crumble apart Properly stored weed looks full and sparkly, with at least a little color life. Marijuana buds are often green with orange hairs, but sometimes you’ll see other colors like purple or pink. Improperly Stored Buds Turn Brown and
Crumbly Brown or tan weed isn’t necessarily bad, as well-cured cannabis also loses color, but brown and crumbly nugs were often stored in a poor container, or weren’t dried enough before storage. If there are random brown patches on otherwise good-looking weed, it may be a sign of mold. These brown, crumbly buds weren’t
stored properly

"I enjoy reading your highly informative Sunday morning email." ~Mothman We enjoy making it every week. It's always fun to see what gets everyone involved and excited. ~Sirius

"I am a big fan of your writing style and the information you share. Thank you! Would you be able to write about why “nitrogen is not (much) needed during the flower phase” - that statement confuses me when a bud is developing, because obviously it is still growing, just in a different
way?" ~Nancy Cannabis plants still need Nitrogen during the flowering phase, they just need less of compared to how much they needed during the vegetative stage. So
it's still important, but thought of as less important than Potassium and Phosphorous. ~Sirius "YO DID YOU GUYS HELP MICHAEL OR NAH? YEE-HEE!
LOVE YOU BOTH TO DEATH 2 years growing" ~NUMAflex I read this and legitimately laughed out loud. It's impossible to read the "YEE HEE" and not do it in Michael Jacksons voice. 🤣 Thanks for stickign with us! 🙏 ~Sirius

"Beginner still learning..." ~James I'd say your "learning" is going fantastic. Keep up the good work 👍 ~Sirius

"Update on Moby! Lots of rain, 22 weeks. Thanks for all your help!! You are a blessing to so many!" ~The Halls You know a plant makes an impression when you remember it and the yard on sight. I can't wait to see how this absolute behemoth of a plant turns out. You've done an in incredible job! ~Sirius "All og kush crosses chocolope Chem and goji" ~Dennis The smell almost makes it through the screen! Maybe
that's just my memory of how chocolope smells, but either way I'm happy with these pics. ~Nebula
A Scammer Blast from the Past

Hamburger scamming in the real world (aka Hamburgling)
|
I don't care if this particular case is insanely hilarious, theft is wrong! Believe me, I laughed at this clip for quite a long time. Seeing the Hamburglar absconding with some McDonalds in the real world brings joy to my heart. The world would be a much better place if all scamming was hamburger-related. Unfortunately, real scams are much more upsetting... As a
personal example, Nebula and I have a neighbor we're friends with and he came to ask us for help with his phone. It turned out he just really wanted help with a potential scam but was embarrassed to say anything. I'm glad he asked because he was indeed being scammed into giving his bank information to sign up for a fraudulent VPN service. Most people will fall for a scam in some form at some point in their life. Being scammed makes you feel dumb, but it lessens that
hurt to know that it's a common thing for people to experience. When I told our neighbor how common it is for people to get scammed, he was clearly relieved (😂) and we were able to get him helped although he had to get new card numbers. Remember when it comes to buying seeds... Real seed businesses don't contact you. They let you contact them. If anyone messages you to sell you
seeds on social media, look out! It's possible they will take your payment and send nothing. Always take a second to think before sending money to anyone, especially if they contact you (whether by DM, text message, phone call, email, etc.). Recommended Cannabis Seed Sources
These sources have gotten great reviews from our readers:
- Seed Supreme – California, United States
- ILGM (I Love Growing Marijuana) – California, United States
- Herbies Seeds – Europe (seemingly out of the UK and Spain)

GrowWeedEasy.com has hundreds and hundreds of pages! Check out some articles you may not have seen... What’s the Cost of Electricity to Grow Marijuana? - Energy Costs are rising across the planet. This page will help you see the future and estimate how much your grow will cost you purely in electricity. Here's a good tip from this page: Get a "Kill-A-Watt" to check the energy usage of your
devices. We learned that our coffee maker used more electricity than any two of our grows combined! Complete Cannabis Grower’s Shopping List - When Nebula and I run our growers class, this is the part that trips people up
more than anything. Growers spend more mental effort on their setup than picking strains or the grow itself. Don't do that! Get stuff that's known to work well so you can move on and not think about that aspect anymore and concentrate on your babies. Shortest Cannabis Grow Guide
Ever - You could print out this page and it would get you 100% through a successful grow. Over the years, we've been able to condense our tutorials and I think this one is extremely efficient if you want to learn growing in a short amount of time. Plus, it's easy to take with you for those who don't have a constant internet connection.

"Growing cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
