by Nebula Haze Are you a home cannabis grower? Almost all home cannabis growers want bigger yields for less money, time, and effort. On the GrowWeedEasy.com website, we’ve already covered how to increase potency & quality of
home-grown buds, as well as how to produce buds with a better taste & smell, but this article will focus specifically on how to increase your indoor cannabis yields.
I will cover 5 easy ways to increase your indoor marijuana yields at harvest time, no matter which strains you’re growing. (Complete outdoor cannabis grow guide here.) These 5 tips and tactics
will work to increase your indoor cannabis yields with any strain. However, the genetics (strain) you start with do have a huge effect on your final results and yields. For growers who want to start with high-yielding genetics, I’ve listed some popular & potent high-yielding cannabis
strains in the bonus section below the main article, along with grower notes to help you provide each strain with exactly what it needs. Now, the first step of increasing your cannabis yields is to make sure you’ve mastered the basics of growing and know how to deal with cannabis problems that crop up. How to Grow 1 Pound of Weed Indoors (Proven Method) Ready to harvest more than a pound of top-notch cannabis right from inside your home? Sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Turning that dream into a reality is fully within your grasp, and I’m going to show you exactly how to produce a pound of top-shelf weed indoors. Harvesting a pound
(that’s an eye-popping 16 ounces) of your own top-shelf cannabis is about more than just the weight. It’s also about independence from buying, the delight of sharing your crop with others, and the freedom to have so much weed you never run out, with enough left over to make your own goodies like edibles, extracts, and
tinctures. This was our first 1-pound indoor cannabis harvest based on this tutorial (600W HPS grow light).
Outdoor Strain Suggestions from Readers! Last week we asked you all for your favorite outdoor strains. We were pretty overwhelmed by the number of responses, but it's actually awesome because we're in the process of creating the ultimate outdoor strain guide. Until then, I wanted to share some of the strain suggestions along with the comments we
got. Recommended Outdoor Strains - Bubble Gum - We got two suggestions for this strain. One grower said "Bubblegum loves growing outdoors" and another said "I live in upstate NY. I grew Bubble Gum seeds from Seed Supreme. Put in 2 plants that grew into monsters! Over 6 feet tall. I harvested 21 oz from them. Will surely grow this again in 2024."
- Candy Store - Another example of a strain with multiple votes. "Epic yields outdoors"
and "It's ready to harvest on the early side, which is important where I live."
- Cherry Gar-See-Ya - "Always liked Cherry Gar-See-Ya. Bud quality is excellent outdoors."
- Frisian Duck - For those who don't know, the "duck" strains have unusual looking leaves that make them a good choice for stealth growing. Here's the comment we got: "My favourite outdoor strain is Frisian Duck from Dutch Passion. I got two types. One plant grew to 7ft tall and about the same width, and the buds filled 6 glass storage jars. The leaves make the plant look like nettles, and grown with nettles is indistinguishable. Could be grown anywhere."
- Mimosa X Orange Punch - "I had very good luck with Barneys 'Mimosa X Orange Punch' last summer. Finished well, 2nd week of October (Ontario Canada shorter summers), good
yield, tight buds & more crystal than I would normally get on an outdoor. One Caveat, we had a dry fall so bud rot wasn't an issue. This year going back to MimosaXOrange Punch and trying Greenhouse's ' Ztrawberry' too. will let u know. Jim"
- Peyote Zkittles - "The strain I like the best is peyote zkittles. When I grow out doors it's potent and get 4 to 5 # per plant." Note by Nebula: I've also grown this strain and I was impressed by the way it grew and its potency as well.
- Purple Ghost Candy - "Very Sativa and grows really big, plenty of “up” feeling meds, turns purple with a heavy candy type aroma and taste". Sirius recently grow this strain indoors in a hydro setup, and we couldn't agree more with your observations! Seems to be a very versatile strain as long as you don't mind it getting
big. Very potent buds. I'm actually smoking some right now lol
Don't hesitate to hit reply and let us know your favorite outdoor strain if you feel like we missed a great one. Here's a Bubble Gum bud living its best life outdoors. Sparkly!
Indoor growers, it's your turn! Please hit "reply" and let us know what is your favorite indoor strain and why! We'll feature some of the responses next week!
Australian Growers: Check out Herbies Seed Shop
|
I just wanted to share this tip. Many seed companies ship to Australia, but I recently learned that several of them do not guarantee shipping there. That means if your seeds get lost in the mail, you're out of luck. However, one of the students in our Home Grow Masterclass let us know that Herbies Seed Shop actually guarantees shipping to Australia, and let us know they actually re-shipped the seeds multiple times until they arrived. So if you're an Australian grower, definitely take a look. And if anyone has ordered from Herbies Seeds before, please let us know how it went!

No comment provided. ~Reg It makes me so happy to see a short-yet-productive plant! It's inspiring to see what a grower can accomplish even in a really small space with some simple plant training. I love those air pots (plastic pot full of holes) as an alternative to fabric pots. They're much easier to reuse since you can literally take it apart and rinse it off. Air pots seem to get similar improvements in growth as fabric pots. I actually wrote an article about air pots vs fabric pots vs regular pots if anyone is interested! ~Nebula

cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any.
