Click here to view the full article on GrowWeedEasy.com Note: This germination method is controversial to some growers, but if you follow the full instructions, it just works. Don't hesitate to reply to this email and share your experience with germination! Time to sprout your cannabis seeds! But there are lots of ways to germinate cannabis seeds. Which seed germination method is the easiest? How can you sprout almost 100% of cannabis seeds with almost zero effort? The answer is to plant your cannabis seed directly in the soil or coco. Today’s germination tutorial will teach you how to plant your seeds in soil and still get excellent germination rates. (I recently used this
technique on 8 seeds that were over 4 years old, and got a 100% germination rate!) Planting cannabis seeds directly in the soil is easy and effective when done right.

Plant your cannabis seeds and keep them warm and moist during germination.
The result? Cannabis seeds pop up as beautiful seedlings in just a few days.
How to Fix Seedling Leaves That Get "Stuck" From the ShellOccasionally during cannabis seed germination, the seed shell (or a piece of membrane from in the shell) gets stuck to the leaves and prevents your seedling leaves from opening up. Here’s how to deal with this common issue (sometimes called “helmet head” or “bucket head” seedlings). Is the shell stuck on your
cannabis seedling?
Or are the leaves stuck together and unable to open up?
Did you know strain affects germination rates? When it comes to how well seeds germinate, it’s not just a matter of seed storage or freshness. Some cannabis strains produce seeds that germinate better than other strains. Genetics can affect how well a seed tends to sprout.
This makes sense when you consider breeders develop cannabis strains for the resulting buds and not the seeds. Some cannabis breeders are selecting plants based purely on how the buds turn out, and don’t select for seeds that germinate particularly well. That’s why you sometimes get cannabis seeds that look flimsy and thin, yet grow into beautiful productive plants with excellent
bud quality. However, for beginners, I highly recommend choosing a strain that’s been specifically bred to germinate well, too. There are tons of amazing breeders with great seed germination across the board. But if you’re looking for particular suggestions, I’ve found that seeds from Ethos Genetics
and Seedsman tend to have above-average germination rates. GG4 x Zkittles is a
cannabis strain with excellent bud quality that tends to germinate well in even non-ideal conditions.

"Maybe you could do a little piece on information regarding the Autumn Color Effect? I've been seeing it crop up a lot on my plants this winter season - I'd love to hear your take, Neb! Feel free to use my pictures however you please. - One love, RWI :)" ~RunWithIt

Hey RunWithIt, Your plants have turned a captivating purple! For those who don't know, some cannabis strains always turn purple (or some other color) no matter what you do as a grower. However, many strains only turn colors in certain situations. Some things that cause plants to turn purple for some strains: - When they experience warm days with cold nights (temperature fluctuations
- When they get strong light levels
- When they experience nutrient deficiencies or use up most of the nutrients in the soil
- Towards the end of the flowering stage
This inspired me, so stay tuned as I will publish a full article about the Autumn Color Effect next Sunday! I'll also share what you can do as a grower to induce colors like purple, pink, and red in your cannabis plants. ~Nebula

Sirius Fourside: Sirius Fourside is a hobbyist grower who has gained the bulk of his experience growing in water as a medium (deep water culture, bubbleponics). "Growing
cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
