7 Things I Wish Someone Had Told Me When I First Started Growing Weed by Nebula Haze
|
Click here to view the full article on GrowWeedEasy.com When I first started growing weed, I was completely overwhelmed by all the information about growing… Everything
seemed so complicated. Maybe you know what that’s like. But after I started growing for real, I realized how easy things can be when you just know what to do.
|
In the beginning, I worried about a lot of unimportant things, and didn’t pay nearly enough attention to the fundamentals. Back then, I didn’t even know what the fundamentals were! (GrowWeedEasy.com has the basics laid out right
here) If you want to learn from my mistakes, you’ll love today’s article, because it breaks down 7 important things I wish I’d known about growing weed when I first started. 1.) Growing Weed Doesn’t Have to Be HardI think a lot of people want to feel like they accomplished a major feat because they
were able to grow weed. But truthfully, if you just want weed for personal use, growing can be incredibly easy. Even if all you’re doing is a simple hand-watered coco grow, you can easily end up with several ounces of buds off your first plant. Yes, even if you make lots of mistakes. Each grow after that you’ll
learn more and more about what works for you. For many people, just growing 1-2 plants at a time is all they’ll ever need to keep a regular medicine supply. Set up in a weekend. Spend ten minutes a day on care. At the end of the grow, dry and cure your buds. That’s all you really need to grow an abundance of super potent buds!
2.) Light is the Most Important
PartHonestly, if you really want to get the biggest yields indoors, the best thing you can do is get the best possible light setup for your grow space. The best cannabis grow lights produce dense, sticky, fat buds, covered in trichomes.
Small grow lights produce small, low quality buds no matter what you do.
For those who want power and huge yields (up to 14 oz, or almost a pound), one of my favorite LED grow lights right now is the 350W HLG 350R. Plants stay healthy and the buds get thick. The only downside is the grow light is super powerful and needs to be turned down for young plants. Bud quality is top-notch. Check out a full setup with the HLG 350R. 3.) Proper Airflow Prevents a Host of ProblemsGreat airflow… Don’t go overboard with fans or you’ll give your plants wind burn. Leaves should be gently rustling but not waving around. Too much wind stresses leaves.
I hope today's article helps you as much as it would have helped me when I started growing! So today, take a moment to check your grow one by one, to make sure you're not making any common grow mistakes outlined
above. Definitely reply to this email and share the biggest lesson YOU'VE learned since you started growing. If you haven't started your grow, today is the day! If you read today's entire article with all 7 tips, you will already know more than 90% of new growers. Check out this next section for a solid plan to start growing today!
Check It Out! Ready to Start Growing? I created a full tutorial on a simple-handwatered grow so you can harvest up to a pound of of your own, home-grown
weed!
The secret to this method is to use a great coco mix with my recommended nutrients. After that, just follow the steps to grow great weed. Combine this with today's main tutorial, and you have an iron-proof plan for a great harvest.
This easy tutorial works even if it's your first time growing!
Quick Tip: Instant Height Control for Wild PlantsIf your plants are getting too tall or wild, you don't need to break or cut the branches to make them shorter. Instead, you can gently bend down stems and tie them
into place with some plant twisty tie (100x better than pipe cleaners!). If you've got really stiff branches, use the "supercrop" technique to bend over even the tallest stems! How to Control Height

📸 Weekly Plant Spotlight: Organic run! Strains: Dynamite Diesel
|
Today's plant spotlight is from one of our forum members, Rookiegrower710. The training on these plants looks absolutely
amazing! ~Nebula Strains I started this organic run 35 days ago. One is
35 days old and the other pheno of Dynamite Diesel is only 27 days old. I will be flipping both to the flowering stage two weeks from now. I’ve done low stress training and stopped bending them to start a more vertical growth. I’m using Alaska Fish Fertilizer (5-1-1) at a pH of 6.5
and Dr. Earth Organic Fertilizer 2-2-2 and its been applied every Saturday. I will be flipping both of them to flower in about two weeks from now. Check out his full grow journal to

Sirius Fourside: Sirius Fourside is a hobbyist grower who has gained the bulk of his experience growing in water as a medium (deep water culture, bubbleponics). "Growing
cannabis can be a relaxing hobby in and of itself, but it also saves you money and keeps you from having to deal with shady characters. Cannabis is much easier to grow than people give it credit for, and growing in water doesn't increase the difficulty much, if any. But whether you want to grow in water, coco, or a different medium, we'll show you how easy it can be!"
