What Are Awesome Marijuana Strains for Beginner Growers? Link to full article: https://www.growweedeasy.com/how-to-make-firecrackers-in-1-hour-worlds-easiest-cannabis-edible-recipe by Nebula Haze Want to get all the power of strong cannabis edibles with almost none of the work? Even if you only have a tiny amount of weed, cannabis “firecrackers” will put you on a rainbow. What are Firecracker edibles? “Firecrackers” is a
common name for a marijuana edible that needs weed, crackers (triscuit, graham cracker, saltine, etc) and a fatty spread (peanut butter is most common, but any spread with fat works) mixed with weed. The ingredients are arranged like a sandwich with the crackers on the outside and the spread/weed in the middle. Picture of cannabis firecrackers using different types of crackers
Firecracker edibles are awesome because… - Crackers and peanut butter are easy to get if you already have weed
- Takes a small amount of weed compared to other edibles
- Easy to eat and mild-flavored compared to some other edibles
- Easy to adjust the amount of weed in each serving
- POTENT, but you must follow the directions to ensure the firecrackers don’t come out
weak
Quick Overview: How to Make Awesome Marijuana Firecracker Edibles- Bake the Weed (“decarb” the weed in an oven to make it potent for edibles) at 250°F for 20-30 minutes – Bake until weed looks slightly toasted (example pictures below). This is the most important step, so don’t skip it. Weed must be “treated” before making any edible recipe (not just cannabis firecrackers) or the edibles won’t be potent. Full
instructions below. You add the right amount of heat over the right amount of time to “decarboxylate” or “decarb” the THC in the weed. Learn about decarbing weed. Essentially, this “activates” the THC before it gets to your stomach. Otherwise, it just passes through your system without giving you the weed effects. Normally, when
smoking, the act of burning decarbs the THC, but your stomach won’t do it. Since you’re going to eat this, you have to do this step before making your edible. In fact, if you decarb your weed, you can actually just eat it straight at that point and it will work.
- Assemble Firecracker – Mix the decarbed weed with peanut butter, then place a scoop of the mixture between two crackers and wrap with aluminum foil.
- Bake the Firecrackers – The first time
you baked was to make the weed potent. This time you’re baking the peanut butter and decarbed weed for two reasons: it thickens the spread so you can eat it without peanut butter getting everywhere, and fat draws out the decarbed THC from weed and absorbs it. The oil also helps your body absorb the weed better. In the end, you have a well-packaged, stays-together, easy-to-eat little cracker sandwich that will knock your socks off.
The whole process should take about 1
hour from beginning to end and then it’s eating time! Now lets go to the full recipe with step-by-step instructions… All you need to make cannabis firecracker edibles is weed, peanut butter, crackers, and aluminum foil. 1 hour until takeoff!
Great Edibles Begin with Great Weed!Just like how great food starts with great ingredients. You can make firecrackers with literally any type of weed as long as has THC. But the quality of the physical and mental stimulation will always depend on the starting material. So if you want really good edibles, make sure the weed or trim you use comes from plants that were also really
good like this Platinum Cookies by Seed Supreme You can even use older weed that never got used.* Just look at that bud. It speaks for itself!
When the plant is of high enough quality, you can even make edibles with just the trim from the plant, saving the buds for other things (like more edibles). Autoflowering Grow Journal Day 68: Harvest Window is OPEN! Here are the plants at 68 days old from germination.
Strains Back row: Zkittlez Auto, White Widow
XXL Auto, OG Kush Auto Front row: Critical Orange Punch, Alaskan Purple, Pink Kush CBD I feel like I could probably harvest all of these plants
today (except maybe the OG Kush in the back right). However, with cannabis plants, you often achieve the best yields and potency if you wait another 1-3 weeks after the harvest window opens. We'll check in on them next week, with closeups of the buds, and assess whether to harvest immediately or wait another week or two! Nebula
Grow Space: 4'x4' grow tent Grow Light: 1 x HLG 350W Diablo LED - I have two HLG 350s, which together fit perfectly in the 4x4 tent. However, last grow with both seemed like overkill. I want to try using only one. I can add the other HLG 350 later, if needed. But I would love to grow over 1 lb of weed with half the electricity and heat!
- What do you think? Should I grow with both or see what happens with just one? Hit REPLY and let me
