"Half-Size Rule" - Flip when plants are half height
In vegetative stage, let plants reach ½ size before they start making buds.
- Why half? Plants double in size (on average) after flowering begins.
- What to do: Figure out how much space you
have under the grow light. What's half that? Initiate a 12/12 light schedule when plants reach that halfpoint.
- Reward: Bigger plants support longer, denser buds. That gives you better yields and bud quality.
Autoflower growers: Nurture seedlings to get as big as possible before plants automatically start making buds.
