7 tips for finding the best setup

1. Make your life easier with a grow tent & easy watering.
2. Your grow light makes food for cannabis plants. It is your most important investment in an indoor grow setup. 
3. Match grow light size to the size and shape of your grow tent. An LED with a 2'x4' light footprint is designed for a 2'x4' grow tent. A 4'x4' grow light for a 4'x4' grow tent.
4. Total LED watts can help estimate potential yields. Even a basic LED can achieve over 1 gram/watt with the right grow methods. 100W = 100-gram harvest, 300W = 300-gram harvest.
5. Get nutrients based on your grow medium. Get soil nutrients for growing in soil. Use hydro nutrients for growing in coco or hydro.
6. Stick to the basics during your first grow. Especially don't ignore the environment while buds are forming and use a proven harvest system. 
7. Start with the right seeds for the buds you want. Learn how to find the right strain for you.

7 Tips for Late Planting

1. Autoflowers are often the fastest option outdoors since they're not dependent on days getting shorter.
2. Most photoperiod strains are ready to harvest mid-to-late fall (October). If you've got 3+ months until then, you can squeeze in a full outdoor grow with a fast-finishing strain. But you need to start as soon as possible.
3. Germinate seeds indoors and make sure seedlings are visibly growing every day before you put them outdoors in the elements.
4. Start seedlings fast and strong with a seedling watering schedule. 
5. Outdoor plants need 6+ hours of direct sunlight every day for dense buds.
6. Stick to soil for your first outdoor grow. In a recent grow study, outdoor growers that used soil produced the most successful harvests.
